Yet another House Finch.  I need to get out where there are some other species.  I did really like the pose from this one.

7DII, Sigma 150-600 C @ 562 mm, Jobu gimbal mounted to blind window, f/8, 1/1250, iso 800, aperture priority, pattern metering, -2/3 EV (set for Chickadee cheek patches).  Processed in LR5 & CS6.  Cropped to a 13.5 MP 4x5 before resizing.  Taken at 9:47 AM on December 7th.

Comments and criticisms are always appreciated.

Thanks,

Good capture of the pose. The exposure compensation setting gave you and interesting effect on the bird.

Nice pose indeed, and I love the colors of the plumage. Cheers, Hans

I will happily trade you one House Finch for a Towhee and a Junco.  Things are really slow in my neck of the woods.  I don't think I've seen a Chickadee in two weeks.  There are even fewer ducks than usual.   But this is a different pose in your image and I like it.  Good sharpness and nice light against the green background.

The inquisitive pose makes this for me. Nice colors and background as well.
