Image taken two weeks ago (12/11) at the local public gardens. It is some type of hybrid pine with needles that turn yellow in winter, but I now can't recall the name. D600, 150 f2.8 sigma macro, f22, iso 200, 1/10.

Merry Christmas and a very safe and happy New Year to all the flora photogs at NPN. crying

Cool pine needles- have never seen any yellow ones. I especially like the ones that are striped green and yellow.
Nice little snowscape -

A cool image, Scott.  Nice dof and I like the way the cone pops out of the image.

Scott, let me know if you find what kind of pine this is. Some pines will have a yellowing and drop needles during the fall. This is often a disease called needle cast. I do not know this one. It's not Eastern White Pine, which has needles in fascicles of five needles, while this has two. The cone would fit a number of Northern pines. But I am curious.

Nice Christmas scene! Just needs a red Cardinal to complete the scene.
