Gorgeous, Scott. The fresh snow is beautiful and works wonderfully to simplify and focus the comp. The warm lighting on the water brings this image to a new level. Processing looks great.

Scott,
A lovely, and warm winter landscape. Wait, warm and winter don't usually go together... ;-) But for me the warm reflection really brings this image together. In fact, I think you have some room to bring out even a skosh more color/sat in the reflection. Of course not too much, it could easily be over done.
The only suggestion I have would be to try the plastic bag and duct tape trick like Dave...

Scott, What a beautiful winter scene you captured here. The glow across the water looks great as does the color in the leaves that are still hanging on. This image has such a wonderful and inviting feel. I like this very much! Your processing looks really good to me too.

Very peaceful and serene. The warm glow in the water and the golden leaf colour contrast perfectly with the snow.
Delightful image!

The reflection on the water is marvelous. My one comment is that the tree bark, grasses, etc. have relatively little detail, as if a lot of noise reduction has been applied. I suspect that this was the intention - to get a painting-like, dreamy feel? I think that it works well.

A nice warm glow on a winter scene, nicely done,Scott. Wish there was more space for the foreground snow cover rock.

Thanks for the comments. I probably should have mentioned that I shot this from a bridge, which somewhat limits the perspective, and I did not have any plastic bags and duct tape.

Beautiful winter scene. The reflection with its warm color is just spectacular. Shutter speed gives nice flow to the water. Yes just a little lower point of view would be nice to get below the lower branch; being in the water might be too low.

This is beautiful, Scott. I especially like the reflected warm light which adds to the mood of this beautiful scene. I also like the way you used the tree branches to frame the warm light in the composition.

The light on the water really makes this special. Sweet. Those last remaining leaves on the left add a bit of color, too, echoing the color in the water. Really nice.

Scott, the gentle flow and the subtlety of the details make for a most appealing interplay to me. The warming glow in the reflection just makes the difference for me.
