I loved that image, David.
The bird is so beautiful, and the pose and light are great.

Lovely comp and techs.  The pose sets this apart from the pack.  Nicely done.

Hey David,
Wonderful light, detail, pose and color pallet on this one. Man-O-Man I really like that reflection and the large version is very impressive. The subject and reflection feels a bit tight in the frame to me, I would consider a bit more canvas all the way around if you have it.
Well done on a superb capture and Happy New Year . . .  devil

Beautiful!  Great pose and detail.  Maybe a bit more room on the top?

Beautiful bird and a very sweet pose, David.  Superb detail in the plumage and I like the quality of the reflection.

Thanks for you’re your crits and suggestions – they are much appreciated.
I had experimented by progressively cropping the original frame. This poste is the fourth iteration, being 23% of the original, in which the top and bottom margins are equal. In doing so, I seek to attach equal importance to the reflection, without which the title would have been out of context.

Excellent shot and a great title, David!  Love the colors and the reflection, not to mention the pose.
