Old Moab Truck

I have no idea what this is - an old funky  truck on a hill up behind the Sunset Grill in Moab. I had to climb through cactus to get to it.
Maybe those of you who have stayed in Moab to go to Zion/Bryce know more about it.

Nice antique feel to this. I wonder how it would look in a b/w conversion with a slight sepia tone.

Cool old truck, Sandy.  I like the color in this (those funky mustards of old farm trucks!)  I'm not sure a conversion would give you enough separation from the background, but it would be interesting to play with it.

I think that wheel in the foreground is another mechanical part altogether, probably from a winch or well of some sort?  I'm wondering about the pipe structure in the bed of the truck.  Maybe this was some kind of on the ground crop duster?  The frame doesn't look strong enough for well drilling.  Or maybe it was just something that allowed them to attach something else from a high angle?

Sandy: love the colors in the old truck that the flash has brought out. I think bringing up the brightness in the mountains just a bit would add another layer of interest. Nicely done. Richard

I really like the lighting and composition of this image. I presume it is sunset which gives even more feeling of abandonment.
