Between Madras and Redmond, Oregon.  The park has two campgrounds, one up on the top in this view and the other on the side of the river from which this image was taken.  We stayed there one night this last July.  In the summer, it's mostly boaters and children and quite crowded, but we put it on our list for quieter times of the year.

I thought the lines of this image fit the challenge theme nicely.

5DIII, EF28-7- f/2.8L @ 42 mm, tripod and cable release, f/11, 1/250, iso 400, aperture priority, pattern metering, +1 EV.  Processed in LR5 & CS6.  Full width with a bit off the top.  Taken July 12th at 7:30 PM.

Comments and criticisms are always appreciated.

Thanks for looking,

The power line and the lighter sage at bottom distract a bit. Probably a great place to visit when the snow is falling or has fallen.

Like the sweep of the calm waters intersecting the bright mass of the cliffs and the dark forest.  Might have been taken with this theme in mind, Dennis !!

The big triangle of shaded trees, ocean and nicely lit bluffs looks great, Dennis.  It's a very inviting sky as well.  The larger view opens up the foreground very well, making for a nicely imporved look.

Some very strong diagonals in this scene, Dennis.  One little thin powerline diagonal also that distracts just a bit but a nice capture of the bluff.
