Not exactly the best light in which to bump into the descendants of Cecil!

A very cool scene, Ken. I understand a tight crop may not be ideal given the amount of pixels you'd lose and the very high ISO you were using, but I imagine this would make for an interesting pano too.

Fantastic scene. How fortunate to have witnessed this. I'm impressed by the quality at this ISO setting. Would agree with the comment on a pano crop, taking some off the top.

I should perhaps have said that Jericho (Cecil's coalition partner) has been found dead since this image was taken, apparently a natural death. So this pride are without a male head.
