The Flatirons in Boulder, Colorado.  There wasn't anything interesting in the top or the bottom of the frame so I cropped to make a panorama.

Canon 60D, Canon 15-85@27mm, f/16, 1/100, ISO200

I appreciate all comments and critiques.

Mountains are certainly great for diagonals, Barb and these are especially so.  I like the gently curved foreground as a contrast to the stark angularity of the peaks.

Well truly some massive diagonals in these large slanting boulders, Barb. The trail and the folks hiking that open pathway adds definite scale to the view.
I might be tempted to select the sky and do an inverse to select the ground area and drop the blue there, but not too much.

Thank you, everyone, for your comments and suggestions.

I had been thinking maybe the image was a little too blue, but I wasn't sure.  Here is a version with a warming filter applied in PS Elements to everything except the sky. What do you think about this?

Nice.  I think the colors are fine. Good comp and clearly meets the diagonal requirements of the theme. Its a very hazy location due to the local atmosphere.  Many a beginning rock climber got their start on the 3rd Flatiron including myself.  (3rd rock face from right.  There is a 150 foot free rappel off the back side which is quite exciting)

A fine look at the Flatirons, Barb.  I like how you've created 3 strong color spaces with your crop,  the bright green below, the blue sky above and the gray/dark green of the forest and rocks.

A classic image of these rocks!  Nicely taken, also like the revision best.  TFS.
