One from last weekend.
La Jolla, California is in a constant battle with it's wildlife. Sea lions have taken over the Children's Pool, and dare to use it for pupping. Evidently the smell left behind by hundreds of sea lions and seabirds is offensive to those that have built their mansions on the cliffs of this once quiet little town. One recent newcomer in the past few years are Peregrine Falcons. Gone are the days when huge flocks of pigeons painted Rolls Royces and Lamborghinis with their droppings, as these birds make short work of them. A little thanks is due I believe.... I just can't wait for the Elephant Seals to show up.

The people in the mansions can set up air purifiers and get noseclips. Too bad for them - they wanted to be on the ocean and SEE the wildlife, but don't want to smell or hear it.
