Fall comes late to our part of Texas. I took this the day after Christmas on our back patio. Our ornamental pear tree drops a prolific amount of leaves, most of which turn very dark brown shortly after they fall. Some still retain some color so a few scenes like this are fairly common. I did desaturate the old leaves a bit but otherwise this is pretty much as found. All comments welcome.>=))>

Well done, Bill. I like this a lot. Nicely composed and everything is tack sharp, even in the web presentation. I would be interested in seeing this before you desaturated the bg leaves -- adding back the color in the background (older) leaves. I think the pear leaf would still stand out, and the image may look more natural (though probably less graphic). This would not be "better" of course, just a different look.

Beautiful, Bill.  My only nit is that little oof area next to your logo.  The rest of the image is so crisp feeling that it tends to pull my eye.

Bill, I happen to like those little OOF spots. They make for a great place to put a logo! I kind of agree with Scott. While this is an interesting take, I would love to see this with the color back in.
