Beautiful Light Indeed Sandy!!!
Along with the light, you have a great formation of cranes posing nicely for you in a attractive environment. Love the rusty wing patches and red eye patches. Excellent details!
Although I like this composition a lot, I wonder how it might look cropped as a panoramic, perhaps cropping from the bottom leaving just a tad of water in the bottom of the image.

Excellent group photo with all in focus and nice HA's. That nice Bosque light....
Maybe a tad off the bottom?

The light is great and there is tons of detail in the larger image. Well done.

A nice grouping with good focus. The composition works for me as posted.
There is a significant loss of color in the small version - be sure to look at the larger image in a color managed browser for full impact.

Great detailed look at the cranes. The color and lighting in the large version is quite nice. I like the composition as is, but could also see it work with half the water cropped out.

Very nice soft cool feel with wonderful light. Yes, the larger image looks superb. One of your nicer images.

Amazing to get five of them all with the eyes visible, Sandy. Lovely light.

Gorgeous light on this Sandy and a great look at the group with nice poses throughout. The detail and reflection add a lot too.

Wonderful colors in the larger version, great detail, and I like the way the cranes look in their habitat.

I am amazed at the difference between the large and small versions.

People- please dont blame NPN. It is mostly MY fault.
I am drowning and have not had time to change embedded colour profiles, etc.
the images look the same on my high-tech monitor.
i WILL get to this...

Nice frame from the Bosque. Yep, the colors are definitely an issue from large to small. I've noted this on hundreds of images and the issue is embedding the right profile AND uploading both the smaller version and the larger version. The NPN software does NOT honor the profile when only the larger version is uploaded and it creates the smaller version.
I think the larger version is a bit over saturated. I've seen tens of thousands of cranes at the Bosque under all kinds of light and none have ever been quite that vivid.
