Bufflehead Flyer

I found this bufflehead hen at a local lake. I like the wing position and the water. Still trying for that perfect capture of these difficult ducks. After processing several of the images, I noticed something hanging from her beak. It is not as evident in this photo, but it is trailing from her beak along her head. I fear it might be a fishing line, but I hope it's just some vegetation. Processed using Lightroom CC (2015) and Photoshop CC (2017) along with Light Craft's LightZone. Comments and critiques welcome.

Really nice water and great wing position, Jerry.  The duck seems a bit softer than your usual flight shots, so you still have a good excuse to go back.

Dennis, I agree with you on the sharpness. These guys are definitely my nemesis. They are so darn fast.

Good one Jerry.  These guys are so challenging.  I have tried but never any success.  Not quite as sharp as usual, but great effort.

Jerry,
Slightly soft but still a great capture, next time?

Nice executed shot, Jerry ! The level of sharpness does not disturb me that much, it shows the motion. Let's hope for some vegetation ... Cheers, Hans

The Buffleheads are so fast that I'm amazed that you got this.  It's sharp enough for a 2000th.   I think if you had a faster shutter speed you would have nailed it.

A keeper in my books! Great flight capture of this speedster Jerry! Sweet wing position.
