In our garden, in a pot, against the sky when spring were all in bloom. I already want to come back.
D800E, Nikkor 60mm macro - f/22 and ISO 250.
Thanks for opinions and advices.

The lighting creates a beautiful transparency to the anenome. Almost like an illustration in a book. Perfect!

Excellent Gigi. Wonderful lines and colors. Great translucency to the petals. Wonderful! (I usually don't like spent blooms, but this one seems to work for the photo.)

Incredibly beautiful, Gigi. I don't know how you get such spectacular effects from simple back lighting. My wife thinks yo made a pact with the devil

Dennis Plank.
Dennis this is what the devil told me in change of my soul.
- Shot: strong backlight, maximum of light for BG blown up, subject well lit and low contrast.
- Editing: lower contrast, lower color saturation, more sharpness, at the end 0,3 pixels of blur.
That's all.
Thanks to you and your wife for your interest about this photo.

Love the shot of the flower, but I'm not wild about the plain white background. Just one man's opinion.

Great illustration, Gigi. Beautiful veins in petals. I also like your composition which includes the spent flower.

Gigi: Brilliantly captured and superbly composed. When looking at the thumbnail I was not sure about the leaves on the lower edge but I think they are a fine supportive element. I also really like the combination of a full bloom and the one in decline. Many kudos.>=))>

Lol - Gigi, go out and get some ice in front of the lens A really beautiful shot in the meantime ... these graphic shots against a plain background are something I really enjoy.

All been said. Something really "artistic" about this one . Love it.
