Image looks sharp where it needs to be. I like the water drops. For me the image doesn't work because the bird is flying away from you

I love the sharpness and the wing position and the water drops and the light. For me, the bird is just barely flying away from you, and the image still works, though it would be wonderful if it had a slightly different position.

Hey David,
The large version is impressive and a very fine all round composition indeed. The angle of the subject is border line to me and is helped with the good eye contact, obviously a few frames earlier would be more desirable but I wouldn't mind having this image in my gallery.

Nice detail, David, and good wing position. I do wish it weren't flying away.

The head looks like the sharpest part which is always nice in a flight shot, I would have preferred it not moving away from you but nothing you could do about that, nicely taken David
