Four vertical shots stitched in Lightroom.  I was impressed with the job LR did given the shots were taken handheld.

Canon 7d mark II
24-105 at 24 mm
1/160 at f7.1
ISO 100

Allen, the ruggedness and details in the landscape are amazing.  The river makes a fine leading line.  You've also got some fine colors in the land.  Without knowing what's below this view, I can wish for more land and less sky even as I enjoy the scattered clouds.

This is great detail Allen. I tried one last summer from about this same spot. Mine didn't have the color that you have captured here. You might want to try a crop of some of the sky to increase the focus on Mount Saint Helens a bit more.

I wonder if it would be stronger with less of the sky? Still very nice as posted.

All shots of Mt. St. Helens make me vaguely sad. As a college student, I had some amazing backpacking trips in the big trees around Spirit Lake. All long gone now, of course.

A very nice pano, Allen!  It really shows the extent of the devastation.  i agree with the others that a longer narrower version with less sky might be even nicer.  Nice job on the stitching too.

This is a very good demonstration of stitching in lightroom and nice image also.   I tend to agree that less sky would be better but this exercise is about stitching and the resulting image is impressive.
