Sony A77II
Minolta 200mm macro
ISO 800, 1/4 @ f11 in Illustration creative mode
For most of my adult life I've preferred dogs to cats as pets but I like big dogs and we live in a patio home so for the past 20 years or so we have had cats. We only have Teddy now. He's about six years old and ranks at the top of our favorite pet list by far. He's a hoot to watch play and is a real cuddler. I love his eyes and like how the Sony Illustration mode rendered them. Bill, I really like the artful look here with Teddy. Not sure what or how you did the end process, but it really appeals here on this image.
We too have had critters, always, and the two now were rescues. They both have some medical needs and we are doing our best to keep them comfortable and well. And like Teddy, they're both a hoot too.....sad

Great looking animal and image. The camera mode works well to make this look quite painterly and different. Very effective with the Teddy portrait!

Big cat fan here, and essentially the only live models that I have patience for (other than plants). This is a very different and appealing cat image, the camera effect really works in this case.

A charming image, Bill - photographed very affectionately.  The illustration mode seems to bring out his look especially well.

I am a cat person, too, and this captures 'cat-ness'. The mode you chose works well to give a pleasing portrait. Nicely done!
