Hey John,
This has got to be one of the best bird in the mud images I have ever seen. cool
Detail, colors, pose are right on perfect and he looks like he is truly enjoying his bath although get'n clean don't seem to be working out to well.
Great image that brought a smile to my face . . .

What an unusual photo.  Glad you shared this.  Love the colors and patterns along with the wet, bedraggled look.  I am sure he/she will feel so much better when finished.  The branched in front of the face try to draw my eye away from the bird.  If it were mine, I'd experiment with eliminating those.

Adds new meaning to the term saturated.  Incredible image with superb detail and color.  I'm assuming you were behind a blind?

I really like this one, John. Great behavior shot with really nice detail. Those watering holes sure do work well for you.

I love the pose and the wet plumage, John.  I think you could back off on the sharpening just a bit.
