Irises

I used to paint. I haven't had the time for years, and wanted to be outside when i DID have free time -  so that creative need  has developed into photography and photo Art. This Photo Art image started as an old photo in my files of one of my long-ago paintings, then I played  around with filters and different colours (original irises were lavender) and lines and textures and softening and extending leaves and drawing buds in and swirling them, and lots more, until  this morph presented itself.
I couldn't duplicate this if my life depended on it!
I like it a lot - hope you all do too.

Sandy

Really lovely, Sandy. I'm impressed that this started out as a painting and then morphed into photo art. Very creative! Pleasing colors and forms. I know the feeling of not being able to duplicate such a work.

You are a talented artist Sandy.  Nice transformation into photo art.  Over this long cold winter I have reversed the process and am trying to paint some of my photos.  Also started out years ago painting but switched to photography.
