The assignment was to photograph people using the old wooden rocking chairs at the Sugar Grove Nature Center in central Illinois.  The director asked for the photos for future use.  People photography is not something I do often, but with the help of a friends grand children I focused my camera on other than critters.  The chairs are located inside an old large corn crib building with open windows that look out over the restored prairie.

That is one beautiful child! Especially love her blue earrings. A copy of this portrait will be a cherished thing for her family.
Wonderful image!

John: what's not to like about a beautiful little girl. What a fabulous smile. Richard

She's so cute John. I really like the old chair and the drab wall BG with this wonderful little smiling angel as the main event.

You had an ideal model to work with, but I also like your composition a lot. The red flower adds a nice bit of interest to the image.

Her smile is contagious. The light, composition and color are spot-on. Well done, John.
