Giant Otter

Here's a Giant Otter from our Pantanal, Brazil tour.  These guys can be difficult to photograph as they tend to stay in the shade when they are fishing, the light was contrasty here but I liked the feeding pose.

The contrast doesn't bother me.  You took advantage of the opportunity very well.  My only small nit would be the rock in the lower left. but that's pretty small.laugh

You don't usually see nicei mages of these guys. Kudos for capturing a nice one. The feeding behaviour adds a lot. Well done.

Nice shot Nate. The light doesn't bother me here either. Very well processed. Nice BG also.

Great job processing this tricky light...and of course, the pose.

I like this image.
Very nice details and exposure considering the light conditions.

Hello Nate, well captured considering everything and You get what they let you see!
Nicely backlit whiskers, and enjoy seeing the open mouth chewing.

Cheers

Nate: very well done in difficult conditions. I really like the opened mouth with the fish dangling out of it. Richard

You handled the light well.  Good detail in the otter.  He stands out well from the similar colored background.
