I'm still snickering at a recent remark from "someone" re "alternative facts." Ludicrous.
But I digress...
To me, the canyons in Canyonlands NP are even more beautiful than the Grand Canyon, but far less well-known.
Hence the title "Altenative Canyon"

Sandy: there are beautiful colors and shapes in the photo. Very appealing about the capture is that the landscape in this scene is on a scale that doesn't dwarf or overpower the viewer. Richard

Great take Sandy, i would have sworn that this image was taken at Bryce Canyon and not Canyonlands, but then again there is so much to see off the beaten track and that is so  intriguing about the South West.

Louis, this could very well be Bryce. We went through all the parks in that week, and a couple on the same days. Lost my notes.

Sandy, I like the layering of colors and DOF.  Also the individual provides a good sense of scale.
