Here's a Great Blue returning to the nest with some building materials. Its neighbor seems uninterested. Taken with a D4, 150-600 lens at 1/2500, f/9 and ISO 640. Richard

It's funny how uninterested its neighbor does seem.  The Great Blue Herons work hard this time of year.  I like having both nests and birds in the frame.

Richard, very nice image.  I really like the focus on the incoming bird.  The viewer can get the whole story of what's happening at one glance.
