Iso 500, 300 mm 2.8 at F5 .6, 1250th, handheld, fill flash at -1 2/3, 75% full frame, D 500, Topaz adjust, no sharpening

Beautiful Shot of a beautiful bird. Detail is great and I like the way the light highlights the left side of the bird.

David: excellent detail and composition. Have you considered a version with the face of the bird is lightened just a bit? Think it would be an improvement on an otherwise fine photo. Richard

Nice pose and detail in a bird that doesn't seem to sit still for long. The lighting looks good and the colors in the background adds interest to the photo.

Nice sharp capture of this little Nuthatch David. I like the curved perch it chose and the comp you chose. We have the White Breasted around here, I like the added color in yours. Well done!
