Is that your back deck from which you made that nice sunset image recently????
Nice image of the old building. I like it.

Yeah, it was tough standing on the two end joists, especially hand held.
Thanks for your comment, Mr. H..

Preston, old buildings are always a great fixture to shoot. As we know from outings to Bodie and such. The moss looks like it has decided to become a part of this structure. I wonder if there are any termites about, eh ?
Might make a neat fixer-upper too.....
A fun take here.......

Fine photo of this derelict building. It probably has more character now then when it was new. Richard

Well seen Preston. Love the title.... it almost goes unnoticed.... Whoops, watch that first step, it's a doosey! ;-)
I'm a little torn on the foreground rock and grass. I think if you like it and want to keep, I would burn the bottom part of the image down a bit, it seems a little bright to me relative to the rest of the scene. I think as an alternate, I like a crop without the rock at the bottom. To me, the image is about the door, the step, the moss-covered awning/roof(whatever it's called) and the story that's being told here. The rock and immediate foreground grass isn't adding much to the story - at least for me.
Fun place that Columbia! Thanks for showing me around!

Love the old back door here Preston. You have captured so many nice views of the old west in Columbia. Love the textures of the tree, the door, the wall, and the light coming through the first/second windows. Lots of nostalgic interest here.
