From Jan 2015 during a large swell. The ehukai hangs, under calm winds, along the pali and interacts with sunset to create Na Pali magic!
Enjoy and thanks!

Beautiful! I love the layering of the of the landscape and waves. The whole image leads one to the upper right corner.

Aaron,
What's to say? What a glorious seascape. There's just enough detail in the trees and I especially like the hint of the big, bold sun on the right edge.
Go-geous. Great title too!

Love those layers, especially from this vantage point. Looks lke the early parts of the trail? The trees add some nice interest to the hangs, as you call them. Never heard that term. Wondering if the hot edge of the image near the sun should be cropped/burned in a little? Not a big deal, feel the magic from this place, can smell the sea.

Wish I'd been with your for this sunset; I'd have just kicked back and enjoyed you capturing such glory. (Just kidding, I would have shoved you out of the way and stomped your comp.) I love the layered hills stretching into the light; it is a beautiful mood those "hangs" create.

Thanks all. Was waiting for these conditions...and being available to run down the coast to this spot.
For clarification "ehukai" is sea spray in Hawaiian....so the mist is hanging in the air is what I was saying :)
@harry - nothing is clipped...but being the sun it will be brighter in that part of the image. Could vignette a bit more to keep the eye in. and yes, think about 1/2 mile in.
@john - bahahaha, might want to grab a beverage anyway to enjoy up there :P
