We had a late snowfall last spring, so I took a walk to the neighborhood wetlands to photograph this island of pines while the snow was falling.  I processed as a little high key B&W.

GOTTA see the large version of this one!  Lovely centered comp, Doug, with just enough water for some interesting reflections.  The grassy foreground and distant forest through the snowy air create an excellent sense of depth. The streaks of snow make for some great texture over the darker areas.

Your high key approach works well here, Doug.  The pyramid of trees, centered in the image does a good job of putting me there thoroughly enjoying a quiet, but clearly heavy, snowfall.  The water in front and reflections add extras interest as well as helping show how heavy the snowfall is.  Looks like a wonderful time to be out.
