Foggy Coastal Range

This is a morning view of the Santa Barbara Harbor from Shoreline Park, a few blocks from home. I really liked the fog roiling over the coastal mountains and the strip of fog over the water was a nice accent.

The is some very faint detail in the mountains at 100%, but I did not feel the need to try to pull it out for this scene. Not much there anyway and I am sure it would get funky on me if I tried.

Nice capture of the fog crawling over the mountains; it has an organic feeling to it.

The fog rolling in is so beautiful in the large version. I really like this a lot Harley!

The great light is the final ingredient to make the image. The fog on the mountains gives a very interesting point of interest and the streaking clouds in the sky round out the image.

Beautiful capture, Harley. Excellent composition and absolutely wonderful conditions making for a wonderful image. The mountains look just fine as they are with no need for any more detail. I like this very much.
