Boardwalk Crow

I had been focused on some Wood Ducks and Green Winged Teals, when this common crow decided to hang out with me. He was walking on the boardwalk and slowly stepped closer to me (I think he was used to handouts). I thought I'd try to capture a few images before he flew off. I'm quite happy with the way this one turned out, especially the raised foot.

Thanks for lookin'! crying

A cute capture, Jenaya. He does look like he is out for a stroll. Good job establishing the background and context, too.

Nice, Jenaya.  I have a fondness for some of the more common species, including crows.  This looks like a really tough image to level.  The boards in the boardwalk go one way and the rail in the bg goes another.  I think going with the boards nearest the crow as you did is probably the best choice.

A simple crow makes for a dramatic entrance. I like it!
