Nice pose and good management of the dof, Charlie.  I might remove that little oof vegetation in the lower left corner.

Nice pose, setting, and sharpness. Nice background as well. This doesn't seem quite as colorful as the Cactus Wrens here in AZ.

Everything is beautiful about this -- sharpness, detail, background, pose, and (ouch) perch.  Cactus Wren, indeed.

Sweet rear view of the wren. Great cactus perch, detail,  and BG.
The bit of grass in the lower left might be cloned out.
Nice work!

Very nice image.  The look back pose is great to see the back and still see a great view of the head/eye.  Perch is a big plus.

Really nice work with the depth of field on this one.  The perch and the background really contribute to a standout image.

Pretty stellar image, Charlie! You'd think that cactus would be too prickly for a perch. Great detail, and the catchlight in the eye is just perfect.

Cactus Wren on a cactus... great pose and head turn Charlie with real nice details. I would vote for removing the stuff in the lower left corner also. Great shot!

The dof is great, Charlie, with the bird and the perch nicely sharp.  I also like the pose and the details in the bird's feathers.
