Bill, the unfurling is a lovely form in and of itself. For the sake of simplicity, I believe I would at least look at removing the OOF leaf in the ULC.

Amazingly beautiful. I agree with Phil about trying this with the leaf removed since the bloom is so incredibly beautiful yet simple.

Must disagree with others over the leaf, Bill - it makes the image for me with its softness and counterpoint to the crisp forms of the flower. Like this a lot !!

Beautful capture of the very artistic shape of the flower, Bill. The color and exposure are really good as well. Just a lovely floral image. I could see burning the brighter areas of the bg leaf, but the bg is otherwise very complementary to the flower.
