This is from my Yosemite trip back in January. I previoiusly posted an image of Yosemite Falls with ice/snow patterns in the foreground. This is an abstract close-up of the snow/ice.

Neat patterns and textures, Harley.  Just crious, but I wonder if darkening the dark greys would add a touch more contrast, allowing the ice floes to pop a bit more? I like the abstract nature of this.

Nice abstract and I had to look at it for a while.  Looks to me like the shadows and light give it more apparent relief on the surface than there actually is.

Excellent abstract, Harley. I like the zig-zag, alternating light gray/dark gray pattern. Very well seen.

Harley,

Terrific, natural abstract.  This is beautifully seen, great eye! The geometric shapes, angles, lines, etc. make for a great puzzle, or some IQ tester. ;-)

Along with other comments, I think I would play around with the contrast as well.  Lot's of room with this one for experimenting. Not that this could be improved, but that may there are alternatives.  As presented, I'll take it.  A great image.

Thought it was a sand dune.  Interesting abstract, really nice find. There is a small dark spec under the main ice formation I might clone out.  The image makes me think a bit about what I am looking at, so I'm enjoying that.

Fantastic, Harley.  Love the lines and forms and range of grays.  One superb abstract.  I see some vertical lines across the entire image; perhaps falling snow?  I prefer the original over the repost as that dark shadow under the white triangle gets lost somewhat with the repost.
