I love wave photos, especially ones like this. Great action and color. Hard to determine height. I'll take a look at your blog.

Definitely looks alive.  Great timing on this.  Feels a little tight at the top, and the foaming water a bit too cyan.  The translucent green wave section looks pretty perfect.

@harry - def too tight up top but didnt have a frame that had space.  went with this one of the 3 series b/c worked the best as it could.  was a quick shot as the wave exploded up.  was looking at the color but i really didnt do any color work so will double check raw edits to see if the cyan is where it should be.

Couldn't figure this out from the thumbnail.  Definitely worth opening and seeing full-size.

OH MY!  We're so used to seeing a big, curling, "surfer's" wave... but this one it's like there was a 7.6 earthquake just before the wave crested!  this is unique and awesome!  Yes, it would have been nice to have some room up top, but I'm fairly certain you didn't have the comfort of zooming in and out, and fine tuning your composition - in the heat of the moment - so kudos for even making this capture.

Processing is awesome too.  No nits or suggestions.

Much thanks all!  Shot a bunch from this afternoon and have more to share when I get to them.  Some splash abstracts and stuff.

Glad you like!

Very cool exploding wave! Yeah, a bit tight at the top, but not all an image breaker. Very nice!
