The new leaves and Bluebirds mean spring to me.
Canon EOS 70D, 1/500 sec., f/10, ISO 1000, 600mm. Cropped a little bit.
Comments and critiques are welcome! The photo is grainier than I would like.

Definitely "Spring" ! Great little bird in a nice pose, and in a complimentary array of branches and new leaves.
Your high ISO produced quite a bit of noise, so a few rounds of noise reduction would help. My guess is your high ISO was set to be ready for flight shots , as I do the same thing. It costs in quantity of noise, though.
Nice image!

I most definitely agree about this singing spring. This is a fine look at this bluebird surrounded by the fresh young leaves. The semi-back lighting lets the young leaves pop as it highlights the bird. I would love to see a larger version to explore the details. While the higher iso does add to the noise, if you're doing raw processing, you can compensate for some of that by applying noise reduction in raw processing (at least in Lightroom or Photoshop). The other thing that I would do with a shot like this is some subtle dodging on the shaded part of the bird's face and eye.

This is a lovely spring image! The bird is beautiful and is in a very nice setting. You might want to try applying some noise reduction to the background since that's where the noise is most noticeable.

Beautiful comp. I really like the colors and BG. Although it would be a lot of work, it would be worth it to try to reduce the noise either through a very careful gaussian blur of the BG or through good noise reduction software.

Very nice blue bird image! I like how you framed it with the new growths above and below. Is a bit noisy, but I do not find that distracting. Thanks for sharing.
