Hyde Chapel

The Hyde Chapel is located in southern Wisconsin and I like to visit it a few times a year for different looks. The grass is still green here but it is an image I shot in November. I like the peaceful setting and especially enjoyed it in this light. I shot the picture from a hillside across from the chapel to get the view I wanted on this day.

Good choice to step away and include the surrounding colors.  I like the composition and subject.  A wall hanger for sure.

Hi Nick,
this is a wonderful place and a convincing presentation for me! The contrast between the greens and the subdued autumn colors is really amazing.

Very beautiful image - peaceful and serene. Love the fall colours contrasted with the white chapel and red trim.
Maybe just my crooked eyesight, but the chapel seems a bit off level, judging from the horizontal white trim over the door. Hard to tell for sure what to make horizontal, but that would be MY choice.
Fine image!

This is idyllic Nate. The barren trees surrounding the bright little chapel, white picket fence and the bright greens of the cemetery make a real contrasting statement. The beautiful fall colors add a peaceful and redeeming air to the overall impression for me. There is a story to be told here and I can see this as a book cover.
