I like the high contrast between the white bird and the dark water, Balan. If you have the detail, I'd be tempted to go with a bit tighter crop.

I, too, like the contrast between the dark water and the white bird. I wish I could see more detail in the bird.

Hi Balan

i love the wing position and looks like you have good detail in the whites. Like the others I think a tighter crop would be nice. Try cutting off the top a ways and just a bit off the right side so the bird ends up in that 1/3, 1/3 position in the upper left quadrant hatch mark. I also like the water contrast but your reeds would show up more if the water was a little lighter, . You might play with that. Maybe lighter shadows but darken blacks for the reeds to be silhouettes
