Decatur, Georgia (please tell me if this isn't an amaryllis or if you know what kind of amaryllis it is)
4/15/2017 – 6:50:57 PM
Canon EOS 7D Tamron Macro Lens
1/50 sec;   f/11;   ISO 640
Manual;   Centerweighted-Average metering (that metering wasn't on purpose)
LR5, PS6, Topaz Details and Curves, Smart Sharpen on stamen and pistil

Please note:  I'm using a laptop screen, so I'm not exactly sure how this really looks, and so I apologize if it doesn't look right on a regular monitor.

This is in my daughter's back yard.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

Barbara: An amaryllis indeed and a nice one. I like your comp and DOF mamagement. I do think this could be a little brighter but otherwise looks good.>=))>

Looks OK to me. A little blue cast, maybe.

Thank you, Bill and Phil.  I used Levels to hopefully make this brighter and maybe also help with the blue cast.

Looks like a Minerva or Apple Blossom variety to me, Barbara.  Very nicely done!  I did not get any photos of my Amaryllis that I grew this year.  Very nice!

Thanks, Nathan.  I thought it was an Apple Blossom but wasn't sure enough to say. :)
