Lori:

This is a pretty nice frame.  I like the pose of the sparrow and the nice background.  The composition is very centered.  I wish there were more room on the right side as the bird is facing that way.  The white feathers on the breast do not have any detail left in them as they are overexposed.  maybe you can pull the detail back from the RAW file if it is there.  I think the entire image would be better is if were about a 1/3 stop darker.

Hi Lori.  I agree with Keith on this one.  I notice that you have an exposure bias of .7 showing in your data.  With splotchy light like this, that will tend to blow out the highlights.  If the bird had been completely in shadow, it would have probably worked, though the background would have been pretty bright.  A bit of fill flash would also have helped even out the lighting a bit.

Nice detail in the bird and I do like the pose.

A nice look at this little sparrow, Lori. I like that pose and the great colors in the background. I agree with the other comments, maybe just a touch overexposed.
