Killdeer in Flight

I have some decent flight images of this species, but this is the first time with this wing position and I kind of liked it because it was different.

Seriously??  These guys are flying bullets and you pull off a flight shot that is dead sharp with the bird giving you a nice head turn.....  Wowser!!!

Yeah this is pretty amazing.  I really like it because of the detail, wing position, head turn, and background.  It looks like you are panning.  But out of 5000th of a second, I don't know how one would get a background like that.  Did you put a motion blur on the background?

And you even pulled of the head turn!  What training school do you send your birds to?  A really nice wing position and excellent dof to get it sharp from wingtip to wingtip.  Well done.
