Brown Anoles Fighting

This was taken at the Denio Bird Garden park in Rockport, TX. I saw these lizards and then they started fighting, I lied down on the boardwalk and fired away lots of images as they fought. This species is introduced from the Caribbean.

I find this to be an exceptional image in all respects. Not even a miniscule nit. Well done.

Hi Nate,

Jurassic Park style lizard battle. The poses are great and I like how the tail curls down in the BG. devil

Very cool, Nate. What a great photo. Most people would have passed them by, so kudos for thinking outside the box on this one. devil

Hello Nate, ..well captured, showing the action, and sharp. These males are impressive with their dewlap exposed and in wrestling position. Thanks for sharing!

The wonderful curved lines of arched bodies and whipping tails makes for a great composition. Low point of view also made this effective. Very pleasing, Nate.

Pretty remarkable shot, Nate. Though I would have preferred a bit more "face time" from at least one of the combatants, there are some other elements that make this really cool. The extended dewlap and the flying tail, especially.
