Phloxen

Hi all.

I do not have phlox in my yard, but I have some neighbors that have some wonderful patches of phlox.  The other day, they let me come and take photos of them - and they seemed to be in very nice shape.  I probably went when they were at their peak.

I have a phlox photo from years ago that I really, REALLY like - and sometimes I wonder why I go and take more photos of subjects that I have favorite photos of.  Well, I got several photos this year that I feel are different and good.

This is one of my first unique ones.  I did clone out a small green leaf right about the center of the photo.

Any and all thoughts appreciated.

Nathan

Oh my Nathan, this is just lovely.  Your choice of perspective is perfect. There is just enough in focus to identify the subject.  The surrounding cloud of pink makes this special indeed.  Thanks for posting this.. been missing your crams.

Absolutely perfect.  I really don't know how you get these images to come out as perfect as they are.

So whispy and delicate, I feel like the blossoms can take flight.  Outstanding!

Gorgeous, Nathan !  Lovely, delicate tonality and a nice, minimalist composition.  It feels like being up in the clouds !!

Nathan: Brilliantly composed and captured with a perfect POF/DOF choice IMO. Good call on cloning out the green wherever it may have been. Great to have you posting again. You've not lost your touch or your eye.>=))>
