Crab tree blossoms, Mill creek Metroparks. I love the last two weeks of April when the flowering trees are in bloom around here. This image was taken at 400mm to isolate the blooms in the color wash. Please check out the photo art version of this image, which I personally prefer. D600, 80-400 @ 400, f5.6, iso 320, 1/100, hh. Suggestions and other comments welcome.

I love this romantic image, very well composed. It is difficult to find a nit. The only thing that I would avoid is the splash of the flowers in the front at the base. It seems to me nicer a base with an endless row of the half soft little flowers present in the right; just me of course. Beautiful photo Scott.

Soft and dreamy, Scott. This does convey the spring feeling. Nicely done!

Scott: Pastels like this really lend themselves well to cramming and this turned out very well. Lovely color palette and really nice isolation of the main subjects. Many thumbs up! >=))>

Very nice balance of the sharp and soft elements, Scott, and an attractive blend of cool tones.  Not quite as taken with the Photo Art version, with its ` shooting through rain on the window ' effect  - this does the job perfectly for me.

Wonderful shot! Great cram with the soft washes all around framing the subject. The The classic matting all around is very attractive also.

This is super nice Scott.  Love the cram and the effects of it.  Excellent color and a a great subject.  Nicely done.  (I did not shoot a single shot of a blossom on a tree this year... :()
