Always one of my favorite birds to photograph once spring is in fill swing. Managed to time the take off on this one.

A splendid image, especially when seen in the larger version. Action, detail, color, background all work together.

How come your mulleins always have birds on them Kurt? I keep looking when I drive by places with them. Beautiful take-off shot and it flew at the perfect angle to you. Very well done.

Other than a hint of graininess due to the high ISO, a wonderful image. There's some loss of detail as well, but this should still make a wonderful print. I like the comp your timing worked out quite well............................Jim

Kurt, this is yet another top notch image, with focus right where it should be while allowing the softness of the far wing to accentuate action, and your timing is perfection
