Wilson's Warbler

This little bird has been hanging out in my Japanese Maple for the last week and it is very elusive.  It rarely shows itself and I have only caught glimpses between the leaves.  This is the only time it was in the clear.  I watched it for several hours.  I have never seen one before in my area or ever for that matter.

Iso 320, Sigma 150-600 at 550 mm, F8, 800th, handheld, 65% full frame, Topaz and TK actions, minimal sharpening and yellow saturation already decreased.

It's always exciting to capture a new species...but to get it your own yard is awesome! Great detail in the warbler David I like the colors in the image. Too bad about the shadow on the bird but hey, you got the shot! Well done!

I second Steve's comments., Great looking little fellla.
Might not be your style but you could work on the shadow a bit.
It wouldn't hurt to see what it looks like as you still have the original.
Cheers

Hi David, a very nice rich and vibrant image. Just watch pushing the Blue, as it can start to creep into other elements of the image. The shadow isn't and issue for me, trying to address it may in turn 'hurt' the image and where the eye is more 'drawn' too.

Nice job catching a clear shot of this guy, David, and you even found a nice blue patch behind him.  Excellent detail in the bird, and the shadow doesn't bother me a bit.
