Like others that post here, I can't resist shooting the same flowers year after year, and bluebells are one of favorites in early spring, probably because they are one of the first flowers to bloom, and because they are a wildflower. Here's one from this year, taken in the local Metroparks. D600, sigma 150 f2.8 macro @ 4.0, iso 400, 1/640, tripod. Single image, natural light, natural bg, standard pp in PS6. Mill Creek MetroParks. Thank you for viewing. Suggestions and other comments welcome.

Scott, this is a very appealing portrait of these flowers to me. Your choice of depth of field fits in very well in my opinion, and I also appreciate your careful treatment of colors.

Hi Scott,

I'm not sure about the limited DOF.  Perhaps it gives the image a better artistic presentation.  Colors, BG, and comp are nice.......................Jim

Scott, single image, natural light, natural background -- this is absolutely beautiful.  I really like the choice for DOF.

Scott: I would never turn down the chance to shoot these little beauties. This is excellent. Love the POF/DOF choice and the color palette. Most excellent in every way.>=))>
