Rainbow Tree

I've been having fun with this image I took a few years ago of a Valley Oak in winter. I'm not sure what I did to the original, but I think it involved the Difference blending mode and Color Effex Pro. That's about all that I can say for sure! Oh yes, I did add a texture from Flypaper.

Would be interested in your feedback, since this is a pretty wild interpretation of an oak tree. Some would say psychedelic!

I like this different and creative rendition of the typical solo oak tree.   The transition of pinks to orange then darker silouette shown on the upper branches is super.  I would like that same gradient shown in the lower branching on the right side rather than the quick fade to blue.  ...personal preference... it is as is, wonderful... cries out for a big drippy metallic print!

I agree with the other poster... a metallic print would be perfect! I collect batiks. And this piece reminds me of those. Very original Kathy, a work of art in every sense

Its great fun to play around with software especially when you get a great result like this.  And, yes, I can understand that you don't remember the steps taken.  Very original take on a lone tree!
