Wilson's Warbler #2

This is more of an environmental portrait image.  These little warblers spend all their time inside the Japanese Maple in my backyard.  They rarely show themselves.  Can't do much about the shadows.

iso 320, Sigma 150-600 mm at 550 mm, F8, 500th, handheld, D 500, 60% full frame, Topaz and TK actions

I have only seen one of these in my nature photography lifetime. Little sucker was hiding, just like this one! Nice "peek-a-boo" shot.

Cute peek a boo pose but the bright background detracts here imo, some fill to throw more light on the bird and less on the bg might have helped. devil

Great to get the bird in between the leaves like that.  Wonderful detail.  It might help to tone down the bright greens in the background.

Hello, David. Lovely shot. Shooting in foliage is always a challenge with the light and dark patches. You managed very well and I really love the warbler peeping out from between the leaves. Cheers, Hans

A very nice image, David.  Excellent focus on the head and I like the half-hidden look.
