Canon EOS 7D  Tamron 90mm Macro Lens
1/50 sec;   f/14;   ISO 640
Manual;   Evaluative metering
LR5, PS6, Topaz Adjust Clarity, Topaz Clarity, Smart Sharpen on center

Very unfortunately, even though they had the names of every plant there, I didn't write down anything, so I don't know what kind of hibiscus this is.

The larger version usually shows better detail, colors and light.  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Nice positioning of the important bit. There does seem to be a bit of noise in the big one but maybe  my gear. See what others think. Nice stuff anyway.

A bold, in your face, presentation.  Nicely composed with all the leading lines bringing your eye to the center of the flower.  Nicely done.

I think this is lovely, Barbara !  There's a really nice glow in the petals above the centre, and you've got the stamens and stigma sharp and placed well in the composition.  Excellent colouring too !

Barbara: This brings back pleasant memories for me as some of my early WP selections were images of this flower. Nice frame filling comp and you got the center parts sharp which for me is paramount with these blooms. 2 thumbs up.>=))>

Great composition Barbara.  The offset center that leans to the left works excellently.  Great, stunning color too.  I think the photo could use a bit more sharpening.

Beautiful colors on the flashy hibiscus. The composition and DOF are classic. The dark reds are noisy.

Phil, the dark reds are full of pollen, but with this DOF it didn't show up.
