Folks,

This is my first attempt at making images of lightning, and do not have a open space to do so.

7D, 70 200, F11, ISO 100 with the 30 second exposure

Balan, that's a fine bolt of lightning with it's multiple branches.  One of the biggest challenges in images that include lightning is the foreground.  In this case, using a wide angle lens to provide "small" houses and trees for the foreground might work.

Amazing bolt of lightening Balan.  I agree with Mark's comment about using a wide angle.
