Redstart(Female)
Not as gaudy as her mate but although rather drab, is  still one of my favourite birds.

Good pose and sharp detail.  Stands out well against the background.

Excellent, John.  Beautiful detail and a sweet pose with a nice perch.  Just an excellent all around image of this bird.

Pretty nice image John.  I like the pose.  I think the image could stand to go brighter.  A look at levels shows the white point could be brought into 200 and still have room.

Superb detail, color, pose and head turn.  I think I'm a little partial to the second image.

Another simple but well done composition. From the way the bird is poised it reminds me of a flycatcher - I'll have to look that up in my European field guide.

I prefer the brightness/tones/contrast of the original post.

The large image seems a bit over sharpened.

Great pose and headturn John. The light and background are quite complimentary. I like the brightened repost!
