On my last post I promised a short series on the water lilies at the Mercer Arboretum. I had good intentions but a small health glitch got in the way. I failed a cardiac stress test after I could not see any cardiovascular improvement after working out regularly over a six week period. Last Tuesday I had a catheterization and am now the proud owner of five stents and basically all new cardiac plumbing. I'm already feeling much better and looking forward to getting in better shape. This lily matches my ascendant mood as it reached out to the sun. All comments welcome. Try to take a peek at the Photo Art version also. All comments welcome.>=))>

Sure glad you were tested and diagnosed before more major intervention was needed! Hope you're back to completely well (actually, BETTER than before) soon.
Beautiful lily - I especially love the lavender ones. Mixed feelings about the black spots on that leaf - pretty distracting, imo.

Bill, the lily itself is gorgeous as is its lighting. Usually with water lily shots, there will be one pad that looks like a diseased liver. Looks like you found one! enlightened

I love the name, and I love that that's your mood, but wow! Please do take care of yourself. I love the curve of the stem as it reaches for the sun.

Wow, I just saw this, Bill. So glad they were able to catch that early enough that you weren't experiencing more serious issues with your heart! I hadn't seen a post from you for awhile, so I was worried that health might be the issue. Glad you got it taken care of, and hopefully you will be feeling 100% soon! God bless!
